六字真言 Six Syllable Mantra
嗡、嘛、呢、叭、咪、吽
六字真言，又称六字大明咒，是大慈大悲观世音菩萨咒，源于梵文，象征一切诸菩萨的慈悲与加持。
其内涵异常丰富、奥妙无穷、至高无上，蕴藏了宇宙中的大能力、大智慧、大慈悲。
此咒即是观世音菩萨的微妙本心，久远劫前，观音菩萨自己就是持此咒而修行成佛的，佛名正法明如来。
藏传佛教认为，常持诵六字大明咒，可以消除病苦、刑罚、非时死之恐惧，寿命增加，财富充盈。
Thus the six syllables, "om mani padme hum", mean that in dependence on the practice of a path which is an indivisible union of method and wisdom, you can transform your impure body, speech, and mind into the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha
