金刚杵，梵名 Vajra 瓦支拉，藏语称“多吉”，又叫做宝杵、梵林金刚杵等。
原为古代印度之武器。由于质地坚固，能击破各种物质，故称金刚杵。
在佛教密宗中，金刚杵象征着所向无敌、无坚不摧的智慧和真如佛性，它可以断除各种烦恼、摧毁形形色色障碍修道的恶魔，为密教诸尊之持物或瑜伽士修道之法器。
佛教密教则用它来代表坚固锋利之智，可断除烦恼，除恶魔，因此其代表佛智、空性、真如、智慧等。
砗磲 (Tridacna Shell)
